At Grace Student Ministry we exist to reach our friends for Christ and disciple them. So many ministries view disciplship as the Sunday School classes or the location where the group meets next to study the Bible. However, we believe that discipleship is the process whereby one or two students intentionally invest their lives into the lives of one or two other students for the sole purpose of helping them learn how to eat and digest the food of the Word of God called the “bread of life.” (John 6) This happens in two ways:

1. Students come to know Christ as their personal Savior: When a student comes to Christ at Grace the first question we ask is who helped lead them to Christ. If a student led them to Christ, we believe that student ought to disciple them. If they come to Christ at an event, we believe that we must have students trained who can help that student grow deeper in their relationship to the Lord. (Matthew 28:19-20)

2. Students want to participate in the discipleship ministry: God is in the business of changing lives. Occasionally God does a work in a student’s life and they want to know more about why they believe what they believe.
